Greetings and happy April from PROJECT2031.
Spring is here, and if you’re not overwhelmed by allergies, this is a time when we look forward both to getting out of the house and seeing signs of new life.
It’s also the time of year we celebrate Easter which, for Christians, symbolizes the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Our theme this month is “Listen to the Spirit”. We want to challenge you to listen to the Spirit of God allowing what you hear to prompt you into obedience.
We are called to be a witness, but too often we use a variety of reasons to excuse ourselves from doing the heavy lifting…of service, sacrifice, loving our neighbors as we love ourselves. Being willing to constantly and consistently go out of our way to serve others. Being willing to slow down and strip things out of our lives, so we can walk in ministry…every day.
So look, we live in a country that is broken and divided, and we say we have the answer, so I urge you to listen for the Spirit of God, and when He speaks be like Samuel…both willing and obedient.
